The goal of this endowment is to increase the visibility of Canadian studies at UAA and in the community and to improve opportunities for UAA students wanting to study in Canada.
Award amount is a minimum of $500 per academic year.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
- Applicant must be formally admitted into an undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and/or vocational degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
- Applicant must plan on enrolling full-time (twelve (12) credits.
Applicant must submit an application to the members of the Elizabeth Tower Endowment Committee at the address below. Your application must include:
- Name
- Description of the nature of this project and how it will help meet your academic and professional goals.
- Explanation why the committee should fund your project
- Estimated Budget
- One letter of reference from a professor who can speak to your interests in studying in Canada.
- Current unofficial UAA transcript.
