The Institutional Biosafety Committee is charged with reviewing all research involving recombinant DNA, genetic engineering and related studies, plus research on potentially infectious agents. It also assures that appropriate precautions are followed to protect the University and the community.

Scientific and field researchers doing research with biosafety concerns are required to take a short online questionnaire that will provide valuable feedback for any risks that may arise in their research.
