UAA Mathematical Science major Jonathan Crandall was awarded a Discovery Grant to help fund expenses related to the presentation of his research "Symmetry in Allowable Sequences" at the American Mathematical Society's Joint Summer Research Conference "Discrete and Computational Geometry: Twenty Years Later" in Sun Valley, Utah from June 18-22, 2006. (March 28-April 2) to present his research project "Dena'ina Heritage and Representation in Anchorage."
