Policy Research Internship Award
Brit DelMoral ISER_web

Brit DelMoral (center) was the recipient of the Policy Research Internship Award in 2006-2007.  She is congratulated at the Awards Ceremony by Diane Hirshberg, her faculty mentor, and Chancellor Fran Ulmer.

"My internship at ISER has been an incredibly rewarding experience—not only has it enhanced my research skills and knowledge of the social sciences, but it has opened the door to professional development in a career path as a social researcher."
- Brit DelMoral

The Policy Research Internship Award is presented to exemplary students in the social sciences and other applicable fields interested in the analysis of public policy issues.  The successful applicant will be asked to contribute research and analysis skills to a forthcoming publication published by the Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER).  After all applications are reviewed by a faculty panel, the selected student will be officially recognized university-wide and will be honored with a $1500 award upon completion of an ISER-sponsored research project.  The student may seek credit for this experience through an internship or independent study with approval of the supervising faculty member and department Dean or Director.
