The University of Alaska Anchorage Advancement Office has opened an auxiliary temporary office to facilitate the flow of information for, to, from and by the Next 50 Years Celebration committee.

The N50Y information office is located in ADM 236, and it will serve as a resource for the campus and community for all the details of the 3-day event, February 4-6, and for the exchange of information related to the N50Y celebration events.

The events are designed to celebrate our 50-year history, while looking forward to the next 50 years and publicly welcoming our new chancellor.

Events in the planning stages include: a seminar series led by accomplished members of our faculty, the unveiling of a history wall in the library and the formal procession and installation of Elaine P. Maimon as the eighth chancellor of UAA.
