UAAAA announces winners of 2008-09 Alumni Scholarships

Six students receive $1,000 each to help fund their education

ANCHORAGE, AK – The UAA Alumni Association (UAAAA) is excited to announce the winners of the 2008-09 Alumni Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded annually to six students, one from each of UAA’s schools and colleges.

The Alumni Scholarships are made possible by the generosity of alumni who contribute each year through the UAA Annual Fund, combined with earnings from the Alumni Permanent Scholarship Endowment. This is just one way that the Alumni Association is giving back to UAA in support of today's students.
