Whether you are a returning student, or this will be your first experience living away from home, the staffs of UAA Housing and Dining Services (“Housing”) and the Department of Residential Life (“Res Life”) are here to help. The Fall 2009 semester is well underway, and we are now looking ahead to the Spring semester. The initial offers for campus housing will be mailed out to students with submitted applications beginning November 4, 2009. Housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. For those students that have signed an agreement for Spring 2010 housing and paid their deposit, the check-in process will begin on Saturday, January 9, 2010 and will continue through Sunday, January 10, 2010. Housing assignments will be released via mail to most contracted students beginning in the latter part of December. Please be advised that there may be a significant delay in telephone answer and response time due to the heavy incoming call volume associated with the beginning of the Spring 2010 semester.
The UAA Housing front desk (located in the Gorsuch Commons) is open 8:00am until approximately 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, and 10:00am until approximately 11:30pm Saturday & Sunday during the academic semester, August 20th - December 14th. There will be reduced hours during holiday break periods.
