University Honors Student Advisory Board

2009-2010
UHSAB Members

The University Honors Student Advisory Board (UHSAB) advises the University Honors College Administration and faculty in matters relating to the development of new curriculum, student activities and public service. The mission of the UHSAB is to express the high aspirations of the University Honors students and to integrate the student voice into the vision and development of the college.

Qualifications for UHSAB Membership
Students must evidence good character, leadership skills and school spirit. They must maintain a 3.3 GPA or higher. Once a student is a member of the Board, she/he must regularly attend Board meetings and advance Board initiatives.

Course Representatives
The UHSAB seeks students from each section of every Honors course to participate in meetings and communicate UHSAB activities and initiatives to other Honors students. If you are interested in representing an Honors course, please contact a UHSAB member or the Honors Colllege Office.

Honors Volunteer Opportunities
Every year, the UHSAB has various opportunities for students to volunteer to help the Honors Program. Examples of duties include producing the weekly Honors newsletter, coordinating tutors, organizing events or lending a hand at Board fundraisers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact a UHSAB member or the Honors Office.
