Work Management

OUR MISSION is to provide exceptional customer service to the campus community while supporting Facilities Services in their mission by accurately collecting, processing, transferring, sharing, and reporting information and data.


The Facilities Work Management Center exists to offer customer service to campus faculty, staff, and students as well as providing support to the Facilities Maintenance and Facilities Operations divisions within Facilities Services.

The Work Management Center also provides work request entry, facilities services and work order information, system reporting, radio communications, billing processing and information, employee time recording, records management, data entry, filing, and mail processing.

As the communication hub for the Facilities Maintenance and Operations divisions, Work Management is the first contact with our customers. Currently, the Facilities Services Work Management center processes over 16,500 work orders per year, requiring entry of over 52,000 multi-entry recording forms, which processes approximately $350,000 in labor and material charges per year.

The preferred method for submitting work requests is the Electronic Order Request Form. Other methods of submitting work requests are by fax (786-6989) or calling the office (786-6980).
