Access E-Learning
This website offers wonderful detail regarding how to make flash, as well as other multimedia components accessible. The site offers ten modules. You have to create a login to use the site, but it is free.

Accessibility Tutorials
This page is filled with links to tutorials for creating accessible documents and websites.

ADA
This is a link to the US Department of Justice American's with Disabilities Act Home Page.

Blackboard Accessibility
This page provides basic information on the accessibility of Blackboard and serves as a gateway to additional information. One Section of special interest is the communities tab where there are options to connect with others in a shared region or with others who share a special interest. "Bb Matters" is found within the Connections section of the community tab. It is an electronic newsletter that highlights best practices and features an accessibility section.

Equal Access to Software and Information
EASI provides professional development opportunities and resources in the form of certificates, courses, web seminars, podcasts, and more.

The Faculty Room
This page is from the University of Washington's website. It is sponsored by the US Department of Education's program for Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology (DO-IT) and is designed for college and university educators who have questions about teaching students with disabilities.

Inspiration
This is a page where you can download a free trial of Inspiration, which is software that helps you create graphic organizers, visual aids that are often helpful for students with learning disabilities.

ReadPlease
This is a page where you can download a free filereader that will open text files and read them out loud.

This page from the Center for Teaching Effectiveness offers a selection of online resources for faculty and staff.

Teaching College Students with Learning Disabilities
This page from the ERIC Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Children describes the Principles of Universal Design for Instruction with examples and resources.

UAA DSS Lending Library
The DSS Lending Library page will be updated soon with a search feature and automatic link to reservation form when items are selected. For now, you will find lists of books and videos with abstracts and photos attached to each.
