Faculty Notification (FN) Letters


Faculty Notification Letters are created by Disability Support Services when a student with a documented disability has requested services or accommodations that require faculty involvement.

Common topics addressed in FN letters are:

The letters are unique for each student.

Typically, the student hand delivers the Faculty Notification letter to the professor or instructor during office hours or on the first day of class.  For distance delivered courses the student may use mail, fax, or email for delivery. These letters are strictly confidential in nature.
