MTA Customers: UAA distance education and MTA have partnered up this semester to air UAA telecourses free of charge to students in Eagle River and The MatSu valley that subscribe to MTA for their television service. The telecourses are part of the video on demand system that MTA uses. Every episode of every telecourse that we are showing this semester is available.
To access the telecourses you hit the MENU button on your MTA remote control. Scroll down the options on the left side of the screen until you see a button labeled UAA. Once you hit the UAA button you will locate and select your course and the corresponding episode and watch it. It is a free service and allows students the flexibility to view the courses at anytime of the day or week without having to lease a set of DVDs from the UAA distance education office.
