The UAA Cabinet Strategic Guidance document is issued in February and July each year. On each occasion, it is the product of an assessment by the Chancellor and Cabinet of current conditions, assumptions, and priorities to provide short to medium term guidance for planning, budgeting, and management.  This guidance is given within the framework of UAA 2017, the university’s strategic plan, and the direction provided by the Board of Regents and the UA Statewide Administration.  More specifically, it is designed to guide budget requests submitted to the Chancellor’s Planning and Budget Advisory Council in the spring and to inform the preparation of UAA’s annual new budget request in August.  For additional information, please contact Will Jacobs, Emeritus Professor, at afwaj@uaa.alaska.edu or 786-1055.
