The 2007 Crafts Fair season is here!

This year's fair will be held on Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in  UAA Student Union.

Our fair has a strong reputation for presenting high quality, unique items that are handmade here in Alaska.  Our shoppers know they will be able to speak directly with the artist and find a wonderful array of items.  To maintain this level of quality, all vendors are juried into the fair.

Below you will find the fair application and criteria.  There is a non-refundable jury fee of $10 and, if accepted, the booth fee is $135.  Before submitting for the jury, please review the criteria (found of the back of the application) and remember commercial, imported, or wholesale items are not allowed in the fair.  The UAA Crafts Fair Committee reserves the right to remove vendors who have misrepresented merchandise, resulting in forfeiture of vendor fees and future invitations to this fair.

Please submit two or three representative pieces or photos of your work for jurying.  The committee prefers to see actual items, however if that is not feasible, photos are acceptable.  Drop off your items on Thursday, September 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Friday, September 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the UAA Student Union room 218. (Parking is free on Fridays.) If you email photos, please send them to craftsfair@uaa.alaska.edu.  Pieces will be available for pick up Friday, September 7, after 3 p.m. and the jurying results will be available then.
