Who sponsors the fair?

Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, Anchorage School District, and the University of Alaska Anchorage are the sponsors of the fair.

Who comes to the fair?

· The entire community is invited to attend the fair.

· Advertisements appear in the local media (both newspapers and radio stations)

· Advertisements are posted on the UAA campus of 15,000 students, faculty, and staff

· Invitations are sent out to the 5,000+ Anchorage School District juniors and seniors

How many people attend the fair?

Since its inception in 2001 we have an average of 2800 people attend each year. We host 75 - 85 different booths at the fair

Why is it a Career and Job Fair?

Because of the unique collaboration of educational, business, and military sponsors, we want to provide a comprehensive base of information for our participants. You will have visitors at your booth from high school students and college graduates to retirees. Some will be looking for full-time or summer employment, while others are seeking general career information. We encourage you to consider this variety when preparing your materials.
