The LRC provides academic resources and support to students at all levels and in all disciplines. Free tutoring services include reading, writing, math, English as a Second Language (ESL) and world languages. The LRC Library contains a wide variety of books and other materials for self-study in addition to a course reserve service. Meeting and study areas for students include computer labs, a quiet study, open floor, and small group study den areas. The LRC Information Desk serves as an information hub for individuals needing directional or referral assistance. MAP-Works - MAP-Works is a comprehensive student success and retention program used on the Anchorage Campus since fall 2010. The system pulls together relevant information about individual students from multiple data sources, allowing front line Student Affairs professionals to easily and quickly identify who is struggling to succeed in college.
