When Cody Became a Mouse Potato

When Cody Became a Mouse Potato

How does Cody, a rambunctious and wild eight-year-old, become a mouse potato? It all starts when Cody gets his first computer on his ninth birthday. Before long he is obsessed with his computer, no longer participating in his normal action-packed schedule. Then, while using his computer to do research for a school assignment, Cody discovers amazing feats of strength, speed, and endurance in the natural world. With the clever infusion of nature facts, Cody comes to realize that being active can allow him to jump higher, run faster, and be stronger.

This book also provides teachers and parents with a tool to infuse a wide variety of cross-curricular connections using Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Model. (Back cover)
