UAA College Success Courses

GUID A150 Survival Skills for College Students ( 3 cr.): Focus is on new students and the transition to college.  Learn how to develop behaviors and academic skills necessary for success in higher education.  Practice specific techniques to improve reading comprehension, memory and test taking skills.  Gain knowledge of yourself and confidence in your abilities.  Learn what it really takes to be a success.

PRPE A105 Introduction to College Study Skills (2 cr.): Introduces study skills necessary for success in college-level courses. Presents strategies for information processing, lecture and textbook note-taking, and test-taking in academic settings.

The Faculty Professional Development Series on Advising was held again this Spring. Below are the dates, times and locations for the Spring 2008 series.
